THE INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR ACTION LEARNING
is proud to present

Power in the virtual space
Implications for Virtual Action Learning

presented by Ghislaine Caulat

In this session, we will explore how power dynamics in the virtual space can be different from the ones in a face-to-face, physical environment. Ghislaine will share the results of her latest research (2019 to 2021) and offer seven propositions to deal with power differently when facilitating in the virtual space. Attendees will be invited to reflect on these, based on their own experience of Virtual Action Learning (VAL) work and to identify key implications for their work as VAL facilitators. Pre-reading (approximately 15 minutes) will be a prerequisite for the session. The session itself will be focused on discussion, experience sharing and reflection.

IMPORTANT

Pre-reading will be distributed before the session (approx. 15 minutes required for reading) it is assumed that attendees have completed the pre-reading prior to the session commencing.
